Why Whole Child Fitness!SM Our Founders
Whole Child Fitness!SM instructors believe
children need opportunities to learn health promoting ideas
and behaviors at an early age in order to develop a personal
responsibility for their lifelong well-being.
Our Program Focus: Personalization - special attention to each
child. Our classes and "boutique-like" facility are designed
to give each child the attention they need to be successful.
Maximum class size is 8 children. Love of Physical Activity - it has to be FUN! Development of efficient motor skills - run,
jump, skip, climb, throw, catch in a safe and supportive environment. Development of perceptual motor skills - developmont
of perceptual abilities that are essential for general classroom
learning as well as safe effecient movement. Team and game skills - emphasis on lifelong
participation. Positive self-image - feeling of respect for
the mind and body, along with confidence in their ability to
function in any situation. Nutrition - children must learn that food
choices are linked with energy level, self- image, and physical
fitness. Whole Child Fitness!SM acknowledges the
unique abilities of each child. No single program will meet
all the fitness needs of all children. We want to help your
child discover the joy of health and well- being and begin the
